“For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink,

but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the

Holy Ghost.” Romans 14:17

Praying The Lord’s PrayerPraying The Lord’s Prayer

And because you are sons, God has sent forth the

Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, “Abba,

Father!”  Therefore you are no longer a slave but a

son, and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

Galatians 4:6-7

An heir prays with confidence and boldness.

Praying The Lord’s PrayerPraying The Lord’s Prayer

Prayer consists of many things including thanksgiving, making your petitions and requests known and expressing your faith and trust in him.

Prayer allows you to speak into the spiritual.

Matt 18:18 says, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and, whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. That’s one example of speaking actively into the spirit realm. Spiritual warfare is another.

Praying The Lord’s PrayerPraying The Lord’s Prayer

James 5:16 says to pray for one another that you may be healed. In addition it says that the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.

Lack of prayer accomplishes nothing.

We are not alone in wanting to know how to pray as Jesus would have us do. In Luke 11:1 a disciple asks Jesus, teach me to pray.

His Example His Example Matt 19:13 Jesus prayed FOR others.

John 17:9 Jesus underscored the need for intercessory prayer: to INTERCEDE.  I pray for them.

Luke 9:28 Jesus prayed WITH others.

Luke 5:16 Jesus often withdrew to lonely places to pray alone.

Luke 6:12 He spent the night praying. We need to be able to offer short prayers as well as dedicate long periods to prayer.

He Laid The Foundation He Laid The Foundation Matthew 6:5-15 Praise & Thanks, appreciation, Psalms - lift Him up and He will lift you up. Our Father which art in heaven, hallowed be your

name. Hallowed means to honor and to proclaim as Holy. The hallowing of His name must be done through us. (Praise phase)

God proclaims His Holy name through us when we speak it. Psalms 111:9 says:

He has sent redemption to His people; He has commanded His covenant forever: Holy and awesome is His name.

Declaring God & His PowerDeclaring God & His Power

When we hallow His Name we declare who God is: You are my Father, You are my Redeemer and my Savior, You are my Helper, You are my Buckler and my shield, You are my provider, my healer and friend. We also declare His Power: You rule Lord, You are the Mighty God, You are high and lifted up, Your thoughts are higher than my thoughts, Your ways are higher than my ways. There is none as great as you.

“Father, glorify Your name”. John 12:28

His Kingdom Come: AgreementHis Kingdom Come: Agreement

“Thy kingdom come" declares a hastening of Christ’s return to establish His literal Kingdom upon this earth. We speak it into the earth (prophecy).

“ Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!” Revelation 11:15

His Kingdom Come In UsHis Kingdom Come In Us

God’s righteousness, peace and joy come and be established in your heart and mind.

Ask God to put His nature in you; to release His power and authority upon you; to put the operation of His Spirit in you.

Praying His Kingdom ComePraying His Kingdom Come

Your Kingdom of light be manifest in the darkness of the earth; in people’s dark hearts.

Your Kingdom be loosed.

May your Kingdom come in me: Rule over my thoughts, my words, my choices.

His Will Be DoneHis Will Be Done

His will be done – what God desires for you, his plans for you, his thoughts, ask for sensitivity that he would guide you in His will.

As His will is to see the lost saved, ask Him to lead you into the harvest to those who desire Him and give you a word for them.

Pray His Will Be DonePray His Will Be Done

All that you’ve willed in heaven Father, be loosed through me into the earth.

All that is contrary to your will, be bound. As your son I release your will into the

earth; I bind and forbid all that’s contrary to your will in the earth.

I release the will of God that is in heaven into all the earth.

Your Will Be Done: Agree Your Will Be Done: Agree

May your will be done in me - in my life, in my family, in my work, in my trials.

May your Kingdom come and your Will be done in my church, this community, this county, this State, this nation and the nations and leaders of the earth.

Rebuke the devourer O Lord after Malachi 3:11.

“And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the Lord of hosts.”

Forgive Us: Confession Forgive Us: Confession

Forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors.

Forgiving of sin comes after you do God’s business. Close doors in your life; rid yourself of grudges and
