For the teachersI guess the main issue with this resource may be that it contains my year 11 class and contains references to them as well as jokes related to them. I try to use this type of resource a lot by making stories to illustrate a particular part of Spanish which contain my own students. They respond very well to it but i also ask them first if theyre ok with certain storylines.Anyway this is all about idioms & dichos so i would begin by showing slides 2-4 and introducing the story + concept of Weird Spanish (e.g raining cats and dogs is weird English)Id then ask them to fill in the 1st part of the sheet with the silly literal meanings before showing them slides 5-10 of the stories. Every time a yellow phrase appears, i ask them to guess what it means before we clarify it. Theres a word flick to revise meanings on slide 11.
