Foreshadowing
Foreshadowing: When an author mentions or hints at something that will happen later in the text.
An author uses foreshadowing to build suspense or develop the plot.

BACK = a look back at something that already happened.
Irony: The expression of one’s meaning by using language that normally signifies the opposite, usually for humorous or empathic effect.
In other, non-English words, IRONY is the use of words that mean the opposite of what you really think.
