Forever In Our Hearts...Leslee J. Bublitz
1972 ~ 2016
A Prayer For A Peaceful SpiritSlow me down Lord, ease my pounding heart,
quiet my racing mind, Steady my hurried steps.
Amidst the confusion of my days give me the calmness of everlasting hills, help me to know the magical
restoring power of sleep.
Teach me the art of taking time off, of slowing down to look at a flower, to chat with a friend,to read a few lines from a good book.
Remind me each day that there is more to life than increasing its speed. Let me look upwards into the branches of a towering oak and know that it grew great and strong because it grew slowly and well.
Slow me down, Lord.Teach me to be gentle and humble of heart,
so that I may find rest for my soul.

Leslee Jay Pullen was born August 14, 1972 in Mohall, ND to her parents Rodney and Mary (Evans) Pullen. She was raised and attended kindergarten through eighth grade, in Westhope. She attended Stanley High School to ninth grade and then graduated in 1990 from Mountain View High School in Mesa, AZ where she developed her love for the sun. Leslee graduated with a degree in accounting from NDSU. On May 29, 1993 in Crosby, ND she married Todd Bublitz. Together they had three beautiful girls Brittney, Lexus and Alea.
Leslee was a very accomplished business woman who was a senior business analyst for Nemont for several years and was currently the CFO for Bublitz Trucking, Inc. She had a desire to serve the communities she lived in by volunteering for several organizations including the United Way and the Chamber of Commerce. She spent a lot of time traveling, mostly to Arizona, soaking up the sun, relaxing by the pool and enjoying her morning runs. She also loved to drive her convertible with top down in Arizona. She loved to ride on the motorcycle with her husband, Todd.
Leslee's proudest accomplishments and what she lived her life for were her three girls who she loved with all of her heart. Some of her most treasured moments were spent with her girls shopping until they dropped, attending concerts, exploring, and adventuring all the places they went. For the past three years she has been a selfless, loving caregiver who dedicated herself to the care of her husband Todd fighting his battle with ALS. Leslee was the strongest, most selfless, loving and caring mother, daughter, sister, wife and friend anyone could have the pleasure to know. She was surrounded in her life by so many and had a close group of friends that were like sisters to her.
Surviving Leslee are her husband, Todd; daughters, Brittney (Matthew), Lexus (Jonathon), and Alea; Her parents, Rodney and Mary (Evans) Pullen; brother, Leroy Pullen (Tammy); niece, Taleigh; aunts, Ione Gustafson, Mona (Jerome) Raymo, and Judy (Daryl) Martinson; and grandmother, Virgil Wilhelmi.
Preceding Leslee in death, was her uncle, Harold (Mokey) Gustafson.
