Insert a Symbol ~ By The Numbers
1.Place the Insertion Pointer at the location where you wish to insert the symbol.
2.Click INSERT on the MENU Bar and select SYMBOL.

3. The SYMBOL Dialogue Box will appear. There is also the SPECIAL CHARACTERS Tab that has symbols for ©, TM, ¢ and other common symbols found in Western Culture.
If you are not finding the symbol you are looking for it is advised you change the font from the FONT DROP DOWN Menu or change the SUBSET.

4.When you find the SYMBOL or SPECIAL CHARACTER you want you click on it one time so it is SELECTED then click on the INSERT Button and finally click on CANCEL.
5.You will observe that you character was inserted where you had place your insertion pointer.

1.Place the Insertion Pointer at the location where you wish to insert the piece of Clip Art.
2.Click INSERT on the MENU Bar and select PICTURE and then CLIP ART .

the SEARCH FOR box and click GO.
3.The CLIP ART PANEL will open on the right edge of Microsoft Word Application's Window.
4.Type one (1) keyword that best describes what you are looking for in

5.The computer will display any matching results.
6.Double Click on any image you wish to insert into your document.

7. If the object appears to large or to small you can select it and then drag one of the eight (8) RE-SIZING HANDLES to reduce or enlarge the image

1.Place the Insertion Pointer at the location where you wish to insert the your IMAGE.
2.Click INSERT onthe MENU Bar and select PICTURE and then FROM FILE.

3.The INSERT PICTURE Dialogue Box will appear.
4.You browse for the file, as if you were opening a Word Processing File.

5.When you find the file select it and then click on INSERT.
6. If the object appears to large or to small you can select it and then drag one of the eight (8) RE-SIVING HANDLES to reduce or enlarge the image.
