All Bronze Hurricane requirements (Option 1 or 2) completed, plus address:
• Glazed opening protection. • Entry doors and garage door protection • Strengthen gable end walls over 4 feet • Improve anchorage of attached structures
Silver Garage doors pressure-rated or protected by
impact-rated screen/shutter
• Goal: Minimal damage and loss in Category 3 storm
• Basic requirements –
• Limit damage to roof and related water intrusion (Bronze)
• Protect all openings, improve anchorage of attached structures (Silver)
• Strengthen large gable end walls (Silver)
• Improve structural connections throughout structure (Gold)
