Fortuner lives up to its authentic all-terrain capabilities, with a rugged,

high-riding exterior, robust wheel arch surrounds and sidesteps.

Featuring an off-road-proven maximum wading depth of 700mm and

excellent approach and departure angles, Fortuner ensures you’re never

going to get caught short on the rough stuff.

Needless to say, both Fortuner models are fitted with go-anywhere 4WD

hardware, ready to tackle all the workday challenges and weekend thrills

you’re keen to get out and experience. And to make sure you stay safe

there’s Down-hill Assist Control (DAC), Hill-start Assist Control (HAC) and

Active Traction Control (A-TRC) across the range.

This tough 7 seater wears its legendary Hilux DNA on its sleeve and is

powered by the 130kW 2.8-litre four cylinder common rail direct injection

turbo-diesel engine, as seen in the ever-popular Hilux. This smooth,

modern engine delivers incredible peak torque of 450Nm, making the

Fortuner an excellent tow vehicle; whether it’s a boat, trailer full of dirt

bikes or something necessary to your business, Toyota’s latest SUV

allows you to bring along everything you need with ease.

While providing all that power, the Fortuner never forgets its manners;

the turbo-diesel engine is also impressively quiet and efficient with

fuel consumption of just 8.6L/100km*.

We recognise that, with space for 7 onboard, your Fortuner

is carrying precious cargo whether it’s a work day or

a weekend off.

Comprehensive standard safety features include a reversing

camera, rear parking sensors, stability and traction control,

anti-skid brakes and an emergency stop signal.

Fortuner’s 5-star ANCAP safety-rated and features our

proven Anti-lock Braking system (ABS), which gives

you the confidence to control your ability to stop rapidly

when you need to.

This premium-level SUV also features intuitive Vehicle

Stability Control (VSC) that helps improve the vehicles

stability by detecting and reducing loss of traction. Electronic

Brake force Distribution (EBD) and Brake Assist (BA) are with

you all the way as well, for even more control.

When you’re towing it’s also reassuring to know every

Fortuner is fitted with Active Traction Control (A-TRC)

and Trailer Sway Control (TSC).

Our Fortuner range also features driver and front passenger,

driver’s knee, front seat side plus front and rear curtain shield

airbags. Every model is fitted with three-point ELR seatbelts

in all 7 seating positions. Each seating position also receives

its own headrest and there are two ISOFIX points and three

tether anchors to install child seats to the second row.

safety rating is testament to

its renowned Toyota build quality.

Front seat pretensioners instantly tighten the seat belts at the time of a collision

to help enhance occupant restraint performance. The force limiter function loosens

the seat belts while maintaining the load to help mitigate the impact

to the chest regions of the front seat occupants.

Hydraulic rack and pinion power-assisted steering is vehicle speed sensitive so

low speed manoeuvers require minimal effort while at highway speeds

less assistance is provided. The turning circle is a city friendly 11.6m.
