The Amazing Raise:

The Amazing Raise a Program of Tri—County Network held its first Amazing Raise, for its non-profit members. On Tuesday, October 17th the giving cam-paign kicked off.

The Amazing Raise is a giving challenge that brings together the region to help raise needed funds, shining a spotlight on the work of nonprofits in the Tri-County Area (Montgomery County, East-ern Berks County, Northern Chester County).

Developing Community Partnerships

Working with other com-munity organizations for the betterment of the students who are our fu-ture.

In an effort to pool re-sources and talents we are looking for other community organizations to partner with The Foundation.

If you are interested in partnering with the Foun-dation please contact Tessi Melchior at:

[email protected]

Thank you to all of our current partners for your time, talents and re-sources!!

Foundation Updates:

We are excited to inform you about events & happenings within The foundation.

Mark your Calendar for Saturday, March 3rd, 2018 as

the Harlem Wizards will again be coming to

Boyertown. Game Time is 1:00pm, doors open at

noon. The Harlem Wizards w ill again be wow ing the

audience with their hoops, loops and ally-oops. Last year

over 600 students, parents and community members

cheered on the Foundation All-Star Team as they battled on

the court. All monies raised will go directly back to the stu-

dents in the district. Watch for more information on our

website at www.foundationbe.org.

Welcome Ron Peterson to the Foundation Board!

The Foundation welcomed Ron Peterson to its Board of Di-

rectors. Ron is currently the Director of Information Sys-

tems at Tower Health. Ron believes that the children are our

future and as such we must provide each one with an oppor-

tunity to learn and succeed in today’s society and wanted to

give back. Ron has over 20 of community volunteerism un-

der his belt and looks forward to giving back to the students

in the district!

Future Collaborations and Projects that we are working on:

Foundation Advisory Team:

The Foundation has developed a Faculty Advisory Team made up of Teachers from the District to serve as liaisons between the Foundation and the staff. The Advisory Team is tasked with creating awareness throughout the district teaching and profes-sional staff. In addition, the Advisory Team takes on events and fundraisers to pro-mote and give back to the Foundation. We are very excited to see this team grow in 2018 and look forward to seeing what they have in store for the Foundation. Team Co-Presidents are Rabecca Hester and Dana Kramaroff and we thank them for their enthusiasm.

Partnership with Ambler Savings Bank:

We are very excited about a new partnership that we are developing with Ambler Savings Bank. Watch in the summer of 2018, for an expansion of our Teachers in the Park Program to the Bally Community. As a result of this partnership we will be able offer this successful program to more students this summer. Last year we started the program at Boyertown Community Park and had over 35 students at-tend. This summer our intent is to expand that number and offer 2 locations for the program. We thank Ambler Savings Bank and Roger Zacharia, President/CEO for making this partnership possible. More information to come in 2018.

Building confidence in our students enabling them to succeed.
