RECRUITMENT CRITERIA Regulation 11[1][a][vii] – “be proficient at least in English and one

of the other official languages”

Fitness – as selection criteria – test potential to be able to reach organizational standard after basic training

This together with tactical standard becomes compulsory for all functional members of the SAPS and be recognized as standards to be tested at least annually (Implementation: 2005)
