Greetings to Club Members and guests. Time is flying by as we get into summer and all the car activity of June. We had a good turn out for Melvins Picnic though the wet grounds and threat of rain may have kept some away. They missed great food and fellowship. Good job again Melvin! The annual Patriot Fest was another great event that avoided rain and had a good turnout. The Sapulpa Blowout will kickoff June for us and should be an-other fine event. We are fortunate in Green Country to have so many exceptional events. June 14th through the 18th will be the Mid America Shelby event and the Club will play a huge role in the show on the 18th. We are mentioned in their website and will need many of our members to help with registration, judging and participation. Should be a great day for both clubs. Recently I accompanied Troy Rushing to a Gatesway Foundation meeting to discuss our annual Roundup Show. A good meeting with Whitney and Sarah and others, all looking forward to the September 16th event. Vaunda Olivera was also present and was pleased with these plans as well. We can still participate in the October Grills and Grilles in the BA Rose District. So, there is much to look forward to and I hope everyone is well and excited for the coming season! See you soon!
Thank you, Roger Bymun

The City of Broken Arrow is having a Taste of Summer Event and are looking for some Vintage cars pre-1979 for this event. They are trying to get some cars to be pre-registered to ensure there will be some cars for this event and we were asked, because we helped them out with cars for the Rooster Parade. If you have a pre-1979 car of any type and want to enter. They are asking for only five (5) cars from our club, because there are only 50 spots. This isn't a car show, it's a Summer Event with entertainment & free Blue Bell Ice Cream. There is no charge for you if you sign-up and bring your car. Here is the web-site and link for the registration form… http://tasteofsummerba.com/ If you have a pre-1979 car of any type and want to enter, please contact Ron Watkins at [email protected] and I can get you set-up. You need to fill out the registration form too.
