Date Of Incorporation :5 January 1991

Objective :The Azman Hashim Foundation was established primarily focusing on sustainability in the field of education, welfare of the hardcore poor and alleviate human suffering.

• Donated RM30 million to set up theAzman Hashim Endowment Fund toprovide scholarships to UniversitiTeknologi Malaysia undergraduates.

• Universiti Teknologi Malaysiarebranded its Business School as theAzman Hashim International BusinessSchool in recognition of donor’scontribution.

• The RM25 million Bangunan AzmanHashim in Universiti Malaya (UM)was officially launched by theChancellor, His Royal Highness SultanNazrin Muizzuddin Shah on 23September 2016.

• The building serves the needs of thepostgraduates students in theBusiness and Accountancy faculty.Construction of the building startedin November 2013 and wascompleted in April 2016.

• Donated £2.9 million in 2015 toestablish the Azman HashimFellowship with the Oxford Centre forIslamic Studies, United Kingdom.

• The Azman Hashim Fellowship will beawarded to scholars studying anyaspect of contemporary Muslimsocieties and will be an importantaddition to the Centre’s academicprogrammes in Oxford.

• Funded the RM15 millionconstruction of Azman Hashim ArtGallery and Auditorium at UniversitiMalaysia Sabah (UMS).

• Groundbreaking ceremony held inOctober 2015.

• Expected completion in 2020.

• Donated RM10 million to UniversitiSains Malaysia (USM), Penang for theconstruction of a sports arena.

• Donated 6 units of The HillcrestResidences Condominium worthRM5.52million to USM to set up theAzman Hashim Endowment Fund, toprovide scholarships to USMstudents.

• Donated RM7 million for theconstruction of multipurposecomplex in 2008. Funds derived fromrental proceeds are used asscholarship funds for poor studentswho excel in their studies.

• Donated RM5 million cash to set upAzman Hashim IIUM PerpetualEndowment Property Fund toprovide scholarships and researchgrants.

• Donated RM10 million to MethodistCouncil of Education, to assist itseffort to support nation buildingthrough education.

• The main administrative building ofSMK (L) Methodist Sentul (MBSSentul) has been named after Tan SriAzman Hashim to honour hiscontribution.

• Donated RM4.2 million to TunkuKurshiah College (TKC) for theconstruction of a sports arena.

• The Sports Arena features aspectator pavilion, a hockey pitchand a 8 lane polymer 400 meterrunning track. The pavilion have anarea big enough to fit 308 seats.

• TKC has graciously named the SportsArena the Tunku Arishah TunkuMaamor Sports Arena in honour ofTan Sri Azman Hashim’s wife.

• Donated RM3 million to Kuen ChengHigh School for the construction of aduplex library building.

• The library has a build-up area of30,000 sqft and features readingcubicles, group discussion room, newbooks, special lightings and anexhibition corner.

• Donated 1 million in 2019 to theOpen University MalaysiaEndowment Chair in E-Learning

• The Chair will help in enhancing andstrengthening the university’sresearch and teaching in the field.

• Amcorp Study Grant is a scholarshipgiven to outstanding students topursue the ACCA qualification.

• Successful recipients are also offeredemployment with Amcorp Groupupon graduation.

• Donated RM13.9million to build aintergrated sports complex inSibuJaya.

• Ground breaking ceremony held on23 November 2019. The sportscomplex is estimated to complete in2021.

• The sport complex will cater to theneeds of the locals for a safe andconducive workout environment andserves a population of 25,000.

• Donated RM13.7million to JabatanAgama Islam Wilayah Persekutuan(“JAWI”) for the construction of 2new Muslim burial sites in WilayahPersekutuan, namely RaudahtulSakinah Bukit Kiara 2 and RaudahtulSakinah Kg. Melayu Kepong.

• The burial sites will cater to theneeds of the Muslim communitywithin the vicinity as land allotted forburial ground is fast depleting, incontrast to the growing population.

• Donated RM2 million in 2018 for theexpansion of the mosque. Increasedcapacity to accommodate 1,000 pax.

• Donated RM30,000 in 2011 to easethe daily operational andmaintenance cost.

• Donated RM1.4million in 2007 forthe construction of the mosque.

• Located in Kayangan Heights, ShahAlam.

• Donated RM474,210 to socialenterprise EPIC Homes for thepurpose of building homes for floodvictims in Kelantan in 2016.

• 8 homes were built in Gua Musang,Kelantan

• Located in Amcorp Mall, PetalingJaya.

• The surau was given a RM330,000makeover in 2018.

• The surau was named SurauZabedah, in honour of Tan Sri AzmanHashim’s late mother.

• Donated RM36,000 (2018) andRM36,000 (2019) to SoroptimistInternational Club of Damansara(SID) to support SID’s BuildingBridges Beyond Borders Programme(BBBB).

• Under BBBB, SID will source forvolunteer teachers, mainlyundergraduates from overseas, toteach at not-for-profit learninginstitutions in Malaysia, for examplethe Myanmar Refugee CommunityLearning Centre, Pure Life Societyand Rumah Aman in Malaysia.

• Mike won both competitions and wascrowned Mr. Asia for the 5th timeand Mr. Universe for the 4th time.

• Sponsored Syarul (Mike) RM50,000 in2019 for his preparation for the AsianBodybuilding and PhysiqueChampionship in Batam and WorldChampionship in South Korea.
