Four Weekends at the Life Enrichment Center, Fruitland Park, Florida January 21-23, February 4 – 6, February 18 – 20, March 4 – 6
Jesus answered, "Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life." The woman said to him, "Sir, give me this water so that I won't get thirsty and have to keep coming here to draw water."
John 4:13-15 (NIV)
God—you're my God! I can't get enough of you! I've worked up such hunger and thirst for God, traveling across dry and weary deserts. So here I am in the place of worship, eyes open, drinking in your strength and glory.
Psalm 63:1-2 (The Message)
“…whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst.”
John 4:14a
Dear Sisters in Christ, The 2011 Design Team invites you to join us for one of the 27th annual Women’s Retreat weekends. We have spent the past year planning, preparing and, most especially, praying for you, so that your weekend will be an enjoyable one. With so many things that call for our time and attention, make the choice to take a break, to step away from your everyday life. Share a weekend with us. Take the time to refresh, renew and revitalize your relationship with God. We live in a dark and troubled world. There are struggles all around us and within us. Everyday life can make you thirsty. Drink in the fellowship, prayer, music, speakers, scripture and worship that can be found here. Come, join us and drink in the goodness of God. I look forward to seeing you soon! Grace and Peace,
Lisa McNamee 2011 Design Team Chairperson
Purpose The Women’s Retreats provide women a time:
to intentionally come away from the responsibilities of their home, children, families, and jobs;

Sarah has been a clergy spouse for 24 of her 28 years of married life. Her pas-sion is teaching and loves help-ing people discover the practi-cal applications of scrip-ture. She loves to laugh and loves to share the humor and depth the Bible brings us. She has been a retreat and bible leader at numerous confer-ences and the local church. The Baldridges are currently serving at Palm Har-bor United Methodist Church.
Music Leader Joy Banks Joy is currently serving as Minis-ter of Music for the Mt. Pleas-ant UMC, Gainesville, FL; Music Coordinator for the Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church,
Gainesville and Choral Director of the King Celebration Choir for the Martin Luther King Commis-sion of Alachua County. She is former Minister of Music for the North Central District of United Methodist Churches in FL; re-cipient of an honorary doctoral degree in Theology from Gainesville Christian Seminary. Through her passion for wor-ship and leading others in the worship of Jesus Christ, God has opened many doors. She began playing for choirs at age nine and has been a member of and accompanied several cho-rales/choirs including The Be-thune-Cookman University Con-cert Chorale; produced and directed the Voices of The New Millennium Choir (representing 26 churches from 3 counties) and is co-founder of Helping Hands for Healing Hearts Minis-try which has assisted over 800 individuals with food, clothing, etc. since 1994. Devotions Enrichments Tina Yeager, LMHC A wife and mother of two sons, 11 and 17 years old, Tina lives in Brandon where she main-tains a private counseling prac-tice at First United Methodist Church. An experienced speaker and published author, Tina is passionate about guid-ing people across the threshold of healing to access life’s po-tential. She has over 12 years of experience teaching adults, teens, and children in aca-demic, clinical, and faith-based settings. Tina writes Christian fiction and nonfiction to clarify how we might relate better to others, to ourselves, and to God. Licensed in Florida since 2005, she holds a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counsel-ing from the University of Cen-tral Florida. Dixie Nesland Dixie is a graduate of Florida Southern College where she studied English and theology. In recent years, Dixie has served as an English teacher, youth pastor, and worship leader. She helps maintain the family ranch in Myakka City, Fl, and travels as a local singer/songwriter. Dixie is the author
of a non-fiction book entitled Rediscovering Eden, and enjoys writing, playing the guitar, gar-dening, horseback riding, and kayaking in her spare time. This is her 2nd year on the de-sign team. Icel Rodriguez Icel is originally from Cuba. She is the Director of Global Mis-sions for the Florida United Methodist Church. Icel spent a year in Angola with her hus-band, Rev. Armando Rodriguez and her daughter, Amanda Bosch. Armando and Icel now live in Tallahassee where Ar-mando is the pastor at John Wesley UMC. Icel will share her experience in Angola with us. Marcy Sizemore Marcy currently resides in Thomasville, GA with her hus-band and two school aged boys and attends Thomasville United Methodist Church. Marcy en-joys being a stay at home mom for her family. Prayer journaling entered her life nearly 15 years ago after the death of her mother in 1996. At that mo-ment the journey through prayer began for Marcy and the practice has ushered her through both the joys and suf-fering that life on this earth offers. Karen Sutherland Karen was born in Indiana but has lived in Florida for the past 30 years. She has been happily married to Gary for 38 years and she is the proud mother of Chad, Chrishna and Andy. Each of their spouses help round out their family, Nell, Darin and Crystal. But the real joy in this season of her life is being “Mamaw” to 7 beautiful grand-children…6 energetic boys and one little princess. Karen’s life was “re-arranged and changed” at the Women’s retreat. It was here she left behind a life of unforgiveness and entered a life of Endless Grace. Karen has shared her story to women’s groups and small retreats as has felt God’s call on her life for years. In 2008, while serving as Lay Leader at the First United Meth-odist church of Lake Butler, FL she answered a higher calling and she now serves as the Lay Supply Pastor of her local church. Karen recently served four years on the Design Team for the Women’s Retreats and also served as their Chairper-son. She loves spending time
with her grandchildren and fam-ily and sharing her testimony of God’s grace in her life. Adrienne Demma Adrienne has been involved in music ministry for most of her life. After moving to Tallahas-see three years ago, she felt God’s prompting to begin “Grapevine Praise!” as a way to help women get connected and/or stay connected to the Vine through song and Scrip-ture. Jesus said, "I am the Vine; you are the branches. Remain in me, and I will remain in you." Adrienne currently sings with one of the praise teams at her home church and teaches part-time at a Christian school near her home. Adrienne and her husband travel frequently to spend time with their three grown children and grandson. Rejoice in the Lord, always!
Make It, Take It Colleen Harrison Colleen Harrison was intro-duced to crafting in Vacation Bible School and church camp and has never stopped creat-ing. A BA in Art from the Univer-sity of South Alabama helped legitimize her passions for mak-ing pretty things. She teaches knitting, crochet and drawing classes through her church as a community outreach mission. She often legitimizes her hob-bies by saying that craft sup-plies and girl talk are cheaper than therapy.

In the event a spot does not become available for the weekend you desire, you will be refunded the full amount that you have paid.

However, due to the size of the retreats, we cannot guarantee that we can meet requests. The number of beds that will be held for your church will be based on the number of individual registration forms we receive from your church.
Late Arrivals: Registration will be from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Friday and reopen at 8:30 AM on Saturday morning. If you will be arriving after 9:00 PM on Friday, please make arrangements within your group or call the LEC at 352-787-0313 by 6:30 PM the day of the registration.
