~Stewardship~ “I am the good shepherd...and I lay down my life
for the sheep…and they will heed my voice.”
– JOHN 10:14-16
When you pray, do you only ask Jesus for the
things that you want? Do you ever ask Him what
He wants from you? How do you listen for His
response? Usually, the answer is in “quiet
whispers”, so take time every day, in silence, to
actively listen for His response.
~Word of Life~ Heavenly Father… Give us love
for all people, especially the most
vulnerable, and help us bear witness
to the truth that every life is worth
living. USCCB Secretariat of Pro-Life Activities “Every
Life is Worth Living” Prayer Card
SENT TO SHARE GOD’S MERCY & MESSAGE Intensive Training for Catholic Evangelization
Explore the Catholic approach to evangelization. Develop practical skills for sharing faith and the message of Jesus in everyday life, in ministries, and in your parish through the grace of the Holy Spirit. Examine evangelization resources. This ten session training includes prayer, presentations, readings, small group sharing, skills training, and “people” homework.
Presenters: John and Therese Boucher St. Mary Parish (Hall), 77 Mendon St., Uxbridge, MA on 10 Saturdays, 9:00 am to 12:30 pm
1st Session – May 5th “God’s Call to Share Our Faith with Others” Discover Jesus’ call to share God’s Mercy, as well as how to invite others to embrace Jesus Christ and the Church. See what the pope and bishops have to say about the mission of everyday Catholics. Learn practical skills for sharing your faith person-to-person as you go through daily life, reaching out to loved ones, friends and acquaintances in the home, the community, or the workplace.
For more information contact: Sue @ 508-278-2226. (The $50 Registration fee will be paid for by OLSH parish. Please call the OLSH Rectory if you are interested.) April registration is required.
In the words of Bishop McManus: “It is my prayerful hope that increasing the number of Catholics who are trained in how to evangelize will enable our parishes and diocese to reach out to all who have drifted from the Church, to those who have given up God in their lives, and to those who have never heard the good news of Jesus.”
