Shipston-on-Stour is a small yet thriving market town with plentiful modern conveniences,
lying just 13 miles south of Stratford-upon-Avon. Its attractive Warwickshire setting is home
to a wide range of independent shops, art galleries, bars and restaurants, as well as the
popular Cotswolds Distillery.
For a bigger retail and cultural experience, world-famous Stratford-upon-Avon and its
picturesque riverside sights will spoil you for choice. While further historical attractions can
be found at Hidcote Manor and Kiftsgate Court Gardens in nearby Chipping Camden.
If you feel like blowing off the cobwebs, Shipston Leisure Centre’s extensive facilities include

for the daily commute are within easy reach. The M40 motorway is situated about 15 miles
away, while Bicester and Oxford are both around 30 miles from Shipston. Or you can connect
to destinations across the globe from Birmingham International Airport, which is some 34
miles from home.
Moreton-in-Marsh station is a short drive away, where regular trains run to Oxford or
Worcester in about 36 minutes. There’s also a direct service to Banbury in just over an hour
and to London Paddington, which takes little over an hour-and-a-half.
