Lot 1 – Foxhunt Manor – indicative floor plan about 13,784 sq ftA magnificent Victorian manor house dating from 1898 and built by Joseph Lucas Junior, a builder who built the property for himself and his family. The property was later sold to the Oakshott family, until 1935 when the Estate was divided and purchased by the Xaverian Brothers, when it was run as a preparatory boarding school. The school closed in 1959 when it was purchased by the Order of The Visitation.

This fine country house has brick elevations with matching coloured mullions, under a tiled roof. The internal joinery is high quality oak with panelled dados and doors, carved friezes and

chimney pieces, fine carved archways and wood panelled ceilings to some rooms, with oak strip floors.
