1st Reading: Acts 2:14a, 36—41 Peter proclaimed that only in the name of Jesus Christ are sins
forgiven and the Holy Spirit received.
2nd Reading: 1 Peter 2:20b—25 Jesus suffered for the sins of all people, and by his death on the cross, all can live in accord with God’s will. People who strayed
like sheep “have now returned to the shepherd and guardian of your souls.”
Gospel: John 10:1—10 Jesus said, “I am the gate for the sheep.” He declared that whoever enters through him will be saved because he came
that others may have life and have the fullness of life.
