Food
In France there are foods like chocolate mousse, sStinky Cheese, and
my personal Favorite L’escargot…. L’escargot are snails boiled in garlic
butter served on bread or a plate. Mousse is a kind of cake that is
actually more moist then normal cake. Croissants are a kind of bread
shaped like a crescent. Stinky Cheese is.. Cheese that is stinky… Top
right corner mousse. Top left stinky cheese, top middle les escargots.
Bottom right croissants.
Landmarks
France is famous for 2 amazing landmarks, The Eiffel Tower, and the
Amazing Louvre. The Mona Lisa is located in the Louvre [ More about
the Mona Lisa on Page 4] The Eiffel Tower is constructed by Gustave
Eiffel. Learn about Gustave Eiffel on Page 5. I am still yet to know more
about the Louvre. The Louvre Is a Big Museum made of glass. The
Louvre is home to many famous pieces of art. The Eiffel Tower is said to
be very tall, but Mount Everest is 20 times taller than the Eiffel Tower.
The Mona Lisa
The Mona Lisa is the most famous painting In THE WORLD.
The Mona Lisa is partly famous because of how many
people stole it. The artist is Leonardo Da Vinci. The
mysterious women’s eyes watch you wherever you go. No
human being has discovered the secret behind her smile…
The Mona Lisa is dressed in simple clothing, free of jewelry
and has a mysterious background to it. Leonardo spent years
completing this picture………
Gustave Eiffel
• Gustave Eiffel wanted to build something to celebrate a
world fair. He wanted to build the Eiffel Tower. Everyone
thought he was wrong in his head. But… HE’S A Genius!
Gustave’s birthday is on December 15, 1823. Nobody
believed that he could accomplish this task. This is all I
know about Gustave Eiffel.
Le Tour De France
Hello again. This time I’m telling you about Le Tour De
France. Le Tour De France normally takes 2 weeks. Do you
know why? Because it’s a bicycle race around France and
some neighborhoods or nearby countries. About 500 people
enter every year. I don’t know much about Le Tour De
France.
The People
France I’d say is a pretty normal country, No traditional
clothes, no Traditional… things really. Some people say that
Paris is the world of fashion… I don’t believe it. 90% of
people in France speak French, Czech, and all of those
languages, 10% speak English, Mandarin, and Asian
languages.
The Flag
The French Flag…… It is simple. I don’t know why its like this
but…. This is very short. Sorry!!!!!!!!!! The France flag is very
normal as normal things…
War
During World War II. France was taken over by Germany,
They were under the German’s command until 2 years later
when the allied forces freed them. War was a sad time for
France.
Houses
Houses in France are all different shapes and sizes. There
are very rich people in France and they normally have very
BIG houses. Poor people normally have teensy tiny houses
that are probably as big as Mr. Davies’ class.
Random facts…
• There is a coffee that smells like stinky
cheese.
• There’s a place in France named Nancy.
• Random facts are not very random.
– Lunch in France lasts for 2 hours.
