Step 1 ChAMBerIng

As the bolt assembly moves into battery, the lockinghead pin moves along a curved track in the bolt bodyto rotate the steel bolt head into engagement with thesteel barrel extension.

Step 2 FIrIng

When the gun fres every part o the shotgun exceptthe bolt body moves rearward. The curved track in thebolt body, which is moving orward relative to the resto the gun, presses against the locking head pin,turning the bolt head even tighter into the barrelextension. A shell is allowed to exit rom the magazine.

Step 3 reCOIL

Near the end o the recoil cycle, chamber pressuredrops to a sae level and the guns rearward motionslows. The heavy inertia spring then thrusts the bolt

assembly rearward, unlocking the rotating bolt head,extracting the spent shell rom the chamber andpulling it against the ejector.

Step 4 ejeCTIOn

As the empty shell exits the receiver, the energy othe moving bolt assembly recocks the hammer andcompresses the recoil spring on the magazine tube.The recoil spring then thrusts the bolt assemblyorward, liting the oncoming shell into position andchambering a resh cartridge. The gun is ready tofre againin a raction o a second!
