Objectives:
The FRANE project intends to deepen:
the hazard analysis of different types of landslides
the vulnerability and risk analysis
the exchange of experiences and information with other countries and for sharing in the joint development of the management-planning concept for landslides.
Effort will be oriented towards operational tools, methods and criteria so that civil protection units and services can react based on the best practice.

Actions and means involved:
The multidisciplinary programme of activities is built on a four-stage structure:
Phase A: Data collection and organisation. Phase B: Development of risk assessment
methodologies. Phase C: Application to management for civil
protection units. Phase D: Dissemination of risk management
methodologies.
