2019 HighlightARTS LAB LAUNCHES: We’re measuring teaching artists’ impact on student learning and chronic absenteeism by using the arts intentionally to improve student engagement. The Lab combines 4 teaching artist-led programs each year for 5 years:
• Monthly performance• 12-day Dance to Learn or Theater to Learn
residency• Creativity Consultant Professional Learning• Family Arts and Creativity
We partner with two schools: Wilson Elementary School in Hamilton, funded with a $300,000 grant from Princeton Area Community Foundation’s All Kids Thrive Initiative; and Silver Bay Elementary School in Toms River, funded with a $300,000 grant from the Jay and Linda Grunin Foundation.

In November 2018 the Board of Trustees adopted our Arts United policy and action plan. The plan’s goal is to continually strive to create spaces that are diverse, equitable, and inclusive for children of all identities, backgrounds, and experiences in which their creativity, cultures, abilities, and identities are validated, included and nurtured.
