A great fun and easy project to help children with
colors. The use of the sponge helps children
blend colors. Primary colors (red, blue, green and
yellow) will allow for blending to
create new colors.
You need paint brushes, paint (acrylic or tempera
not water color paint), paper, and a sponge cut to
fit your child’s hand. With a paint brush have the
child paint across the back or sides of the sponge
adding different colors. Then simply drag the
sponge across the paper.
