Thanks to all who supported the Carterville's Got Talent Fundraiser for Carterville Community projects. This requires a lot of work so many thanks to Mickey Edwards and Cheryl Couch and all those who contributed so much time and effort for this cause. A little over $2500 will go towards a project that will benefit our community. Last year's project was the new Cannon Park Fountain. This year's project is yet to be determined. If you missed the Talent Show, tune in next year as it is a great evening of hometown entertainment. If you missed seeing the Boston Crusaders Drum & Bugle Corp Show Monday night, you missed a
real treat as they were terrific! Thanks to Carterville Unit #5, Carterville High School and Carterville Pride of the Lions Band Director Nick Williams for bringing them to Carterville.
The Carterville High School Pride of the Lions Marching Band is looking for 12 loyal sponsors for $250 each to help pay for rewrapping their band's equipment truck and trailer.
