Tires should not be larger than 9” x 20”. Any tires in excess of 10 are charged by weight. Tires are accepted with or without rims. Farm Tires There are designated dates in the spring and fall for collection of farm tires of any size and quantity (maximum of 10 tires per trip). Montgomery County Solid Waste District is pleased to provide our residents with a variety of recycling, recovery, litter prevention, reuse and waste disposal services and programs. In addition to the per pound disposal rate, a Freon removal fee will be charged per appliance to residents bringing in more than five appliances with Freon per year.     Montgomery County Solid Waste District Transfer and Recycling Facility

    Follow signs for daily drop-offs and event collections. Recycling and hazardous waste drop-offs are located under the recycling canopy.

    Daily Drop-Off Hours: Monday-Friday 6:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. Saturday 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

    Environmental Learning CenterThe Montgomery County Environmental Learning Center is an environmental resource center featuring hands-on, interactive exhibits and a “green” parking lot. Schools, community groups, businesses, and professional organizations are encouraged to schedule tours of the facility or host meetings and events at the site.
