FULCRUM CE EXECUTIVE

The Fulcrum CE range comprises of L-shape workstations, single and double

pedestal desks and free-standing storage. The key visual elements are the

desktop, the supporting frame or panel and the accompanying storage. The desk

top is always slim and elegant and can be finished in Veneer or glass.

Contemporary yet very functional, Ambus executive workstations place

cupboard and drawer storage immediately to hand while leaving the entire

under-desk area clear. Cables maybe routed through the storage unit to the

desk surface with an optional cable basket. Two cable access ports are

fitted as standard for cable routing through desk.

Corner desks offer the benefit of three distinct work surface zones, all

immediately accessible by simply rotating the chair. The corner for keyboard

work, the main surface for paperwork and the secondary worksurface for

reference material and equipment. The planning footprint is no greater than

for a rectangular desk, as the depth occupied by the return surface and

pedestal must be allowed for the chair and access.

are symmetrical, which simplifies planning and minimises footprint in comparison to

Our meeting desks are ideal for estate agencies, car showrooms and a wide

Tops are available as standard in a wide choice of veneer and MFC

finishes, as well as our NEW tactile 3D MFC and PerfectSense, all with an

elegantly slim edge which may match the top, or contrast in ply, black or

white. Whether angled or straight, the sides of the laminated ply legs are

offered in a wide choice of veneers, and in black or white laminate. In

addition to the extensive standard palette Ligni is available to special order

in most commercially available finishes.

The extensive use of birch ply in Ligni not only creates distinctive and

immensely strong furniture, but is also an environmentally friendly choice,

as our sustainably sourced birch ply has either FSC of PEFC certification.

HiRise is the next generation in sit-stand bench desks. Built to last, HiRise

comes in a range of single or double bench desks. All feature sturdy,

hardwearing steel frames, with variable shim technology for optimum

stability at any height.

State-of-the-art electronics, exclusive to us, feature intuitive left or right-

hand touch controls, a digital display panel and four programmable memory

buttons for personalised height settings.

Soft start/stop avoids any jerky movement by gently gliding the top into

position, while anti-collision programming guards against accidental injury

or damage. Sensing an obstruction, an automatic cut-off stops and

reverses the top. Optional ganging brackets, for perfect alignment and anti-

trap safety spacing, are available for double bench desks.

FINISH OPTIONS

All our furniture come in a range of different finishes.

As standard all are finished in MFC.

They can also be finished in a range of exceptional quality finishes including:

Veneer, 3D MFC, New Colour Collection or Perfect Sense Matt.

High Gloss Lacquer and Designer finishes can be used either alone or in a combination

with MFC or Veneer to create a contemporary look.

WHAT IS MFC?

MFC (Melamine Faced Board) is a man-made product that offers a realistic likeness

of natural timber. The main advantage of melamine faced chipboard is that it does

not require any finishing. MFC is very hardwearing and comes in a variety of

traditional and modern finishes. A durable material, MFC can last for many years with

the minimum of maintenance, and providing the edges are not exposed to heat or

damp, it will remain smooth and it is extremely tough.

• Wood grain MFC offers a realistic likeness of natural timber at an attractive

cost.

• MFC provides consistency of colour and structure and a perfect colour match

between panels.

WHAT IS VENEER?

Veneer is thinly cut pieces of real wood that is laid on a wooden board. The thickness of the

veneer is approx. 2mm. Veneer wood furniture begins with thin layers of wood glued together

with the grain at right angles over a thick core. This crisscross design reduces the chances of

splitting or cracking. Since veneer is glued with a waterproof adhesive to a stable substrate it

produces surfaces not prone to warp or splitting or seasonal movement. Veneers give the look,

feel and smell of real wood and will mature and mellow over time.

• Bring greater individuality and warmth to each item of furniture.

• The beauty of the natural variations in hue, grain and figure make each piece unique.

The veneer finishes look fantastic, but they require a lengthy preparation and finishing process

and therefore carry a price premium. They are also very delicate.

In general, veneer tables are double the cost of the MFC ones.

3D MFC Finishes - features a relief imprint that recreates the physical structure of the grain and figure, synchronised with the visual appearance of the wood, creating an exceptionally

realistic reproduction of natural timber.

High Gloss Lacquer Finishes - create a contemporary look either alone or in combination with veneer or MFC.

PerfectSense Matt Finishes - features a warm velvety surface with anti-fingerprint properties that prevents unsightly smudges and smears.
