A Ribbon Cutting was held for Bryant Golf Carts on Thursday, November

15th. They are located at 310 S. Grant Street.

A ribbon cutting was held for Edward Jones on Thursday, November 15th. Edward

Jones has a new address. They are located at 215 W. Central Ave.

Stop by and see their new office. It is a beautiful office.

A HUGE thank you to everyone that has brought Coffee,Hot Chocolate and Coffee supplies. We are going to ship

the first box of supplies on Wednesday.

It is not too late to drop off Coffee, Hot Chocolate and Cof-

fee supplies. We are going to be collecting through Christ-

mas.Lets all have a cup of coffee with the men and women

who are serving our Country to keep us safe.

The Fitzgerald-Ben Hill Co. Chamber of Commerce Retail Committee met on Friday, November 16, at 10:30 at the

Chamber on the Commercials that are being aired on the Mediacom stations. We addressed some questions on the

charges and details of how to be involved with the commercials.

We would love to have our Membership be a part of these commercials. If you are interested in hearing about how to

have your business be a featured in a commercial, call us to ask how.

The commercial was launched by the Fitzgerald Chamber of Commerce to highlight both local business and the history

of Fitzgerald. It is the first of many advertisements to come. The goal is to help support local retailers by providing

shared cost advertising.

down for about 3 weeks.

I know you will be pleased with the new look and eas-

ier ways to get to the different pages.

We would like to thank everyone who came out to help with the

Community Clean-up Day. We had around thirty people of all ages show

up to help make Fitzgerald look better just in time for the Harmony Ju-

bilee. Everyone who pitched in showed up in the morning with cheer-

ful, smiling faces. Together we picked up over four hundred pounds of

trash. This is an important event for our community because we cannot

easily attract newcomers to the community unless we present a beauti-

ful first impression. Each of the Community Clean-up Days I have at-

tended have been on gorgeous cool mornings making the time spent a

joy rather than a chore. Again, we would like to extend our sincere

thanks for the teamwork and the effort spent by each one who partici-

pated. Many times thank you!!

We also would like to ask you all to support the Chamber by

buying tickets for a smoked chicken plate that we will be offering on

Friday, December 14, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Each plate will have a

smoked chicken leg quarter, baked beans, cole slaw, and a slice of

Derindas homemade sour cream pound cake. Tickets are $8 each and

can be purchased here at the Chamber office or from one of the

Chamber board members. Some of the proceeds will go to supportingthe Fitzgerald- -Big Ideas, Hometown Values commercials.
