Day 1: Friday, August 8, 2014 Montréal, Quebec - Tour Begins Your tour begins in
the second largest French-speaking city in
the world, Montréal.
Day 2: Saturday, August 9, 2014 Montréal Today enjoy a fantastic sightseeing tour
of Montréal highlighting Jacques
Cartier Square and McGill University
plus enjoy views of Notre Dame
Cathedral and St. Joseph’s Oratory. Your city tour concludes with a stop high
atop Mount Royal from which the
surrounding view is spectacular.
Ascended by Jacques Cartier in 1535,
Mount Royal is the jewel of Mount Royal
Park. This afternoon enjoy a visit to the
Montréal Botanical Gardens. This evening
you will be treated to dinner in one of the
restaurants for which this renowned city is
famous, capping off a wonderfully

Day 3: Sunday, August 10, 2014 Montréal This morning enjoy some time at leisure
to further discover this bustling city. This
afternoon, head over to the Stewart
Museum. Founded in 1955 by David
MacDonald Stewart, this museum
showcases the European Celebration and
focuses on the history of North America
and New France. (B, D)
Day 4: Monday, August 11, 2014 Montréal - Quebec City This morning depart for
Quebec City. Later today, experience the
beauty and history of both Old and New
Quebec with a fascinating sightseeing tour
of the city. See the stately Chateau
Frontenac; the Parliament; the St. Louis
Arch; and Place Royale, the site of the
original settlement of the city of Quebec.

Day 5: Tuesday, August 12, 2014 Quebec City This morning enjoy breakfast at a
local sugar shack nestled in the Quebec
countryside. Learn about the traditions of
maple syrup making and enjoy sampling
many delicious traditional foods made
with local maple syrup. Before leaving,
try a favorite regional treat – maple taffy
in the snow! The remainder of your day is
at leisure to wander the streets of this
quaint setting which is designated a
UNESCO World Heritage site. (B)
Day 6: Wednesday, August 13, 2014 Quebec City This morning enjoy some
time at leisure. Later, enjoy lunch at a
popular restaurant in the heart of the old
section of Quebec. Then, board your
motorcoach for a drive out to view where
the Montmorency River plunges 272 feet
off the Canadian Shield. The waterfall is
an awe-inspiring 83 m, a full one and one
half times higher than Niagara Falls. You
can admire stunning views from the many
lookout points throughout the site. Leave
the falls behind to visit the Shrine of St.
Anne de Beaupre. Upon arrival, you will
be given a handheld audio device that will
guide you through the rich history and
magnificent architecture of one of the
oldest pilgrimage sites in North America.
Take time to explore the beautiful grounds
before departing to visit the Albert Gilles
Copper Museum to learn about the art of
Copper as well as enjoy a demonstration
on the detailed work involved in each

Day 7: Thursday, August 14, 2014 Quebec City – Edmundston, New Brunswick Today leave behind beautiful Quebec City
and travel to Edmundston. Enjoy your
evening at leisure upon arrival. (B)
Day 8: Friday, August 15, 2014 Edmundston - Maine - Edmundston Today,
travel to Maine and spend the day with
your fellow travelers celebrating the 2014
Acadian World Congress Celebration
Reunion Day.** Reunite with family and
distant relatives while you share in
countless memories and laughter. (B)
Day 9: Saturday, August 16, 2014 Edmundston - Maine - Edmundston Today
the celebration continues. Gather again for
the Acadian World Congress Celebration
with your fellow travelers. (B)
Day 10: Sunday, August 17, 2014 Edmundston – Quebec City This morning
depart Edmunston and return to
picturesque Quebec City. Your day is at
leisure to see for yourself what makes this
town so charming. Take a stroll through
the cobblestone streets and discover all
the amazing things this stunning town has
to offer. Tastings…sample Quebec City’s
best dining experiences – all in a single
evening! Think of it as a grand epicurean
tour with each course in a different,
