Bake Sale for Books

It’s that time of year again! Friends need your help in providing baked goods for our annual Bake Sale for Books. Please bring your donated baked goods to the library on Friday June 10th during regular library hours 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The sale will be Saturday June 11th in front of Centerville Wal-Mart from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 or until sold out. Drake Public Library will benefit from all proceeds. If you can be available to help during the sale on Saturday please email me at [email protected] or leave a message for me at the library 641-856-6676. Thank you!

Below is a lovely letter written to FDPL by Pat (Sanders) Petrides from Pat and her sister Martha Sanders who have been members and sponsors for several years. It is too good, not to share. Some of you have already read it but we have several members who do not use email.
