West Temple, Southeast Face, Full Steam Ahead. From February 11-24, Ammon McNeely soloed the route Full Steam Ahead (VI 5.10 A4) on the southeast face of West Temple. Gabe McNeely belayed him on the first pitch. The first and sixth pitches have deck potential. The eleventh and twelfth pitches have many (35-40) holes that need bolts. For the descent, rappel Back Where It All Begins; fix the thirteenth pitch and bring extra rope to pendulum the triple- roof pitch, or pendulum without bags.
