The BMH-BJ Senior Chavurah invites you to join them Wednesday, January 13, for a performance by the Heather Gardens Road Show. These experienced, active, talented and polished senior entertainers will delight you with their singing and performance. Then,Wednesday, February 17, Senior Chavurah will host an event with Dr. Michael Greher, a clinical neuropsychologist and licensed psychologist, who will discuss memory problems and what is normal. Other upcoming synagogue programs of interest to seniors include: Shabbat Shira, Saturday, January 30; the Purim Carnival, Sunday, February 28; and the BMH-BJ annual event honoring Ardie Wandel, Sunday, March 14. The BMH-BJ Senior Chavurah is generously supported by the BMH-BJ Women’s League and welcomes new program ideas. Under the leadership of lay leader Selma Zwerdlinger,BMH-BJ’s SeniorChavurah continues to bring in exciting and entertaining programs forseniors in the Denver Jewish community. Wednesdays, beginning January 20Rafael Spiritual Healing Center to OfferBereavement Support GroupRafael Spiritual Healing Center of Jewish Family Service will offer an8-week Spiritual Healing Bereavement Support Group. The group,which will meet weekly over an eight-week period, will provide spir-itual and psychological support for those who have experienced theloss of a loved one. It will offer a unique Jewish perspective to thegrieving process and is co-facilitated by Rabbi Eliot Baskin, D. Min.,Jewish Community Chaplain, and Arleen Gershen, LCSW, a JFS psy-chotherapist. Participants are asked tomake a commitment to attendall eight sessions.
