We even had a special SUPERHERO visit from Pastor Keith!
Offerings – WOW! The children collected $301.98 for our Guatemalan
mission project! Add to that the contribution from the congregation
totaling $265.62 and our grand total for our offering became $567.60!
That’s enough to sponsor Yacson and Hilda for an entire year! (And it also meant that August got cream pie in
his face from Marit and Hunter!)

SCHOOL SUPPLIES
Two Hope life groups will be collecting school supplies this summer for students at Lincoln Elementary. The need is great, with 81% of the students at Lincoln qualifying for free or reduced lunch. Lincoln is a K-5th grade school and we will focus on providing items needed by all grades.
These include: backpacks (no wheels), Kleenex (unscented), white copier paper (20#), dry erase markers (low odor), pencils (#2, Ticonderoga or Eagle brand), scotch tape, spiral bound notebooks (wide-rule, single subject), boys and girls underwear (sizes 5, 6, 7, 8), girls stretch pants/leggings and boys fleece pants (sizes 5, 6, 7, 8). Cash donations are also welcome, which we will use to purchase needed items.
Please watch for bulletin inserts in the coming weeks with updates on needed items. Place items in the collection box in the Welcome Center. The collection period will be the entire month of July and up until Sunday, August 17.
