Summer services from Memorial Day to Labor Day are at 11:15 a.m. in Reidy Friendship Hall. From Senior Minister Galen Guengerich: e experience of transcendence is most palpable during worship—the hallmark of a religious community: it’s what makes a religious community religious. Worship is an experience in which members of a religious community gather to acknowledge their relationship to each other and to everything else: to all that lies beyond them, and to all that is past and all that is possible. At its most poignant and most powerful, worship connects us with everything, from our most hidden heartaches to our most expansive possibilities. In this sense, worship is the wellspring of gratitude, its source and sustainer. Worship is a discipline of opening our hearts to people we don’t full know, our minds to ideas we don’t fully comprehend, and our souls to a divine experience we cannot fully name. From Senior Minister Galen Guengerich:

The experience of transcendence is most palpable during worship—the hallmark of a religious community: it’s what makes a religious community religious.

I’ll see you in church!
