CFHLA-PAC Reception.

80 CFHLA Members networked with prominent Central Florida Elected Officials at this annual
fundraising activity for the CFHLA Political Action Committee.
This year's event featured a new format with Elected Officials "facing off" in an exciting game of
"Hospitality Feud."

PARTNERS IN ACTION
Recently,
Key Performance Hospitality Management and
Hampton Inn & Suites / East Orlando UCF Area hosted "Interview and Career Shadow" Days
for the sixth graders of their Adopt-A-School Partner
Arbor Ridge School.
The hotel and school worked on the assignment which included creating a resume, how to interview, dressing for success, cover letters and thank you
follow-up letters. The “hired” students then spent the day at the hotel shadowing the position they were hired for. These positions included
Housekeepers, Engineers, Chefs, Front Desk Agents, the Director of Sales and the General Manager. Each student went through orientation, received
their name tags and went to work. It was a wonderful experience for both the students and the hotel team members.

Sadly, CFHLA recently learned that former VIP Member, Linda Miller, formerly of Sign-A-Rama passed away.
During her time at CFHLA, Linda actively served on the Bacchus Bash and HEAT Committees as well as attended numerous events and
activities.
