We visited Tennessee in April, staying at Sharon and Tommy’s place, and we spent quite a bit of time looking for some property for ourselves out there and even did some Geocaching too.

So, what is Geocaching? Well, that’s where we use a GPS satellite receiver to find objects hidden all over the place. A veritable adult ‘treasure hunt’ that we call; “Using billion-dollar satellites to find Tupperware hidden in the woods”. Actually, geocaches are everywhere, even throughout your own city.

My mother passed away this year. She left us with many fond memories, and we truly miss her.

We keep finding things she likes, and catch ourselves saying, “Mom would like this for Christmas.”

After Mom’s passing, Dad stayed with us for awhile. During this time,

we were able to watch the Space Shuttle lift off. Another of my

‘Bucket List’ items accomplished with my Dad.

While Dad was with us, he did quite a bit of fishing.

And he treated us to several of the traditional meals we had when I was a boy

Halloween was a bunch of fun this year. We put together a haunted house with Katrina’s friends, Luann’s parents dropped by and we visited a friend of Luann’s, Halloween party.

We continued to look for geocaches everywhere. Not only did we find geocaches in Florida, we found them in New York, Maryland, Tennessee, Georgia, Kentucky, Arizona, New Mexico, Mississippi, Alabama and South Dakota this year. We even had winners of a contest we had put together (right). Congrats to Embargo and Captain Biggins!

Katrina has met a young man named Bradley and they

have been a pretty good team so far.

We even spent Thanksgiving with

his family.
