Dear Members,Greetings !!!

The month of April has been wonderful with exciting programmes involving members, families and childrenwith Ugadi and Srirama navami celebrations.Ugadi is not only a New Year according to Hindu calendar, but also sets the new astronomical cycle intomotion. The celebrations and prayers that follow fill people's hearts with joy and contentment. Leaving thepast behind and starting afresh with positive expectation is one of the key aspects of UGADI. Congratulationsto entertainment committee chair Mr.Nikhil Oza and other committee members who have coordinated for making the event agrand success. The festival of Sri Ram Navami was celebrated in the club by performing puja and Sita Rama Kalyanam by the members. Theobjective of the celebration is not to ask for special favors of the deity, but to seek perfection as a human being. Kudos toCommittee Member Mr. Ch. Ranganath for organizing the event most successfully. All members who were present have greatlyappreciated the programme.Friends, all our programmes will succeed and all our dreams for progress will come true only when we strictly adhere to probityand morality and without compromising with indiscipline at any level. In July 2015 issue of Waltair Times in the President's deskcolumn, we have categorically mentioned that indiscipline in any manner would be dealt with without fear or favour.Friends, it is a matter of great pride and privilege for the waltair club to have several members who have distinguished themselvesin various fields and have consequently brought glory and stature to this prestigious institution. When I assumed office I was awarethat the road ahead may be long and rough and the task ahead carries with it immense challenge and responsibility. There havebeen unexpected twists and turns, but we are not disturbed by temporary turblances that we had because of the different natureof the persons we are working with. There is no feeling of helplessness, but there is only confidence and courage in doing whatwe are supposed to do. We have to draw a Lakshmana rekha in our conduct and must never be crossed for temporary gains.Rather than talking about short-comings and getting bogged down in the issues of the past, we are committed to create a newfuture for ourselves. The challenge before us is to meet the needs and aspirations of all categories of members and I assure youwe are all working earnestly with the aim to defeat any problem and to succeed, no matter what; to make your experience in cluban enjoyable one. May I request you to please SEE the President's desk column of November,2015 issue of Waltair Timeswherein issues pertaining to the club name "The Waltair Club" and updated master data in the records of Registrar of Companieswere brought to the notice of respected members. This is no time for petty and destructive criticism, no time for ill-will and blaming others. We have to build where futuregenerations will enjoy. May our minds be full of unyielding determination. May our hands be clasped together. May our resolvebe to march forward. My dream is to see we become a loving family of the waltair club.Looking forward to your continued cooperation and support.
