Dr. V.KarthikeyanPrincipal
My New Year Greetings to one and
all!
It gives me great happiness to meet
you all through this newsletter.
The success journey of our institution
continues with the passage of time.
Aptly, our institution has been
conferred with two best notable
awards during this period. As you are all aware, our
institution has been continuously winning the prestigious
AICTE‐CII Best Industry Linked Technical Institute Awards
from 2014 with 8 awards in 5 years. It is a great feat that
this year our institution has been conferred with the AICTE‐
CII Mentor Award for a period of three years and it owes the
pride that ours is the one and only institution to be chosen
as the Mentor among all the other Polytechnics in the
nation.
Adding feather to our cap is the AICTE Clean and Smart
Campus Award bestowed on our institution during Dec
2019, which stands as testimony to the cleanliness and
smart facilities adopted in our institution. I am happy to
mention here that our students have also proved their
mettle by winning the First place with Rs.50,000/‐ cash
prize for their e‐bike project exclusively designed by them in
International Level India's First New, Clean & Intelligent
Mobility Mission Festival 2019‐2020. I express my heartfelt
congratulations to each and everyone for making such
achievements every time.
With these awards and accolades adorning our crown, I
strongly believe that this campus is a Sacred Bhoomi with
all blessings of the Lord. Rightly, I am very delighted to state
that the Divine Sri Srinivasa Thirukalyanam, organized by
Sona Group of Institutions and Sri Srinivasa Thirukalyana
Committee, Salem will be held in our ground on 09 Feb 2020
in a very grand manner. I invite everyone to take part in the
auspicious occasion and seek the blessings of the Lord
Almighty.
Also, I am greatly pleased to state that the National Level
Technical Symposium ThaigFest 2020 will be conducted in a
grand manner in our institution on 07 Feb 2020. We expect
a large gathering of polytechnic students across the nation
to participate in this event. I invite all my dear students to
utilize this opportunity and take part in the symposium and
make it a grand success.
It gives me immense happiness to note that our institution
has grabbed the Overall Championship in the IPAA
Divisional Girls Sports events for the 12th consecutively
year. I congratulate Dr.D.Soundarraj, Physical Director and
all the girl students for this wonderful achievement and
wish them good luck in the ensuing events.
As we proceed with awards and achievements, we have a
series of functions like Annual Day and Sports Day during
this semester. I invite everyone to take part in the
celebrations and make all our endeavours fruitful. At the
same time, my dear students, do concentrate in academics
as well and perform well in the ensuing April Autonomous
examinations.
Once again I wish you all a very happy and prosperous New
Year 2020.
