Induction or Orientation for as we entered HBTI (as it was called then) was

nothing like what it is now. New students in the university have a much

broader view of the world as they enter the course. Take for eg. this year

there have been a host of speakers from diverse background who have

come and addressed the students. Mr. Abhinav Shukla ? Head Corporate

Banking from UAE Bank Dubai spoke about the start-up environment and

the need to be focused on ?solving genuine problems? for start-ups. He also

exhorted the students to focus on becoming employment generators than

employment seekers. The Assistant Director General of Police Mr. Prem

Prakash spoke about the civic rights and responsibilit ies of students and

stressed on the need for the student community to work for the honour

and integrity of the nation. Dr. Raghavendra Jaiswal an orthopedic surgeon

stressed on the need for students to nurture their health by adopting right

habits.
