Philosophy of PALWhen children are just beginning school, we need to

Nurture students desire to learn

Be engaged in and enjoy what they learn

Develop a sense of competence and confidence

Social sphere goes beyond immediate family

Require to interact with peers

Must have social skills and appropriate dispositions for interaction and cooperation with others from different backgrounds

Objectives

1. Provide students with broad exposure and experiences through fun and varied activities in 2 broad areas:

- Sports & Games and Outdoor Education

- Performing Arts (Music & Dance) and Visual Arts

2. Facilitate holistic development of students in the 5 learning domains of moral, cognitive, physical, social and aesthetic.

3. Provide varied avenues for pupils to develop social and emotional competencies.

The PSG is a great opportunity for all of you to be closer to your children, understand them better, and

help them in their education journey.

Supportive Partner in EducationThe PSG complements the school by aligning with the school’s vision & mission, supporting and strengthening the school’s programmes to improve our children’s well-being and learning

Bridge between Parents and School The PSG listens to parents’ feedback on school operations, practices and programmes, and provide feedback to the school. The PSG also facilitates the school ‘s communication to parents.

Resources to the SchoolThe parent volunteers (PVs) supply their time, energy and abilities to assist the school in its activities, so as to add value and enhance benefits to all pupils.

Magnet to Attract Other Parents The PSG synergise and reinforce the relationship among parents/guardians as they reach out to other parents.
