Coming Events "Ten Years of African Literature: A Retrospective Assessment" is the title

of the African Literature Association's upcoming Conference, to be held March 20-23, 1985, at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. The Keynote Speaker will be Kenyan novelist and playwright Ngugi wa Thiong'o. Panel discussions include African fiction, drama, poetry, criticism and periodicals written in English, French, Portuguese and African languages. The fee is $40, $15 for students.
