KEEPING GOD’S WORD IS THE PROOF THAT WE

LOVE GOD

1st John 2:5But whoever keeps His

word,truly the love of God is perfected in Him.By this we

know that we are in Him.

1st John 5:2,3

• 2By this we know that we love the children of God,when we love God and

keep His commandments 3For this is the love of God, that we keep His

commandments . And His commandments are no burdensome

WHEN WE LOVE OUR BROTHER

WE WILL LIVE WITHOUT STUMBLING

1st John 2:10

• He who loves His brother abides in the light, and there is no cause for

stumbling in Him.

WE ARE NOT TO LOVE THE WORLD OR THE THINGS IN THE

WORLD

1st John 2:15

Do not love the world or the things in the world. If

anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in

Him.

WE CANNOT LOVE THE WORLD AND LOVE GOD ALSO

GOD’S LOVE PROMPTED HIM TO MAKE US HIS CHILDREN THROUGH

THE DEATH OF HIS SON

the father has bestowed on us, that we should be called

children of god!therefore the world does not know

us,because it did not know him

By this we know love,because he laid down his life for us.

And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren

into the world, that we might live through him

GOD IS THE SOURCE OF ALL LOVE

MATURE LOVE DOES NOT PRODUCE FEAR BUT INSTEAD IMPARTS COURAGE
