Chameleon Words
We spent time recently learning about chameleon words (i.e. multiple meaning words or homonyms). These are words that look and sound the same however they change their meaning based upon the sentence that they are embedded in.
This activity targets the following speech and language goals:● Vocabulary Development and Semantics● Answering a variety of questions● Oral Expression/Sentence Formation ● Sound Production
Directions: Complete the multiple meaning word box activities below. I completed the first one for you as an example. You can use a dictionary if you need help defining the words. The word boxes become more challenging as you work your way to the bottom. After completing the word boxes, please complete the additional activities below.
