kingdom and smooth administration bringing happiness to
the people. He looked at the country like a personsurrounded by problems. He worked at the total
annihilation of problems by the roots.
Now, its your chance to become Chanakya- to put yourself
into the shoes of policy makers and address a wide range of
policy issues. This competition will put your ideas to a test
against the equally bright set of competitors and if your
ideas stand than you earn yourself the title of- Chanakya-
The PolicyMaker
Chanakya-The Policy Maker is a Policy Making competitionthat gives B-School students a chance to prove themselves
in strategizing and planning of an effective solution for their
state.
The event is open to all 1st and 2nd year students of full
time MBA Program. Register in a Team of maximum 3 onDare to Compete.

The event will be held in 3 phases:
Round 1:
Online Quiz on the following topics
Indian Politics
Indian Economy
Other current affairs
Round 2: Off campus Elimination round
Each team will be allocated a state based on a preference
form floated to shortlisted teams from the first round. Each
team will have to send in a PPT (Max 8 Slides) discussing
and presenting following aspects of the state allocated to
them
Analysis of a major industry of that state
Past trends and future prospects of that Industry
Role played by the industry in States development
Problems faced by the industryPossible policy solutions
PPTs will bejudged on the following criterion
1. Reasons for choosing that particular industry
2. Analysis of industry and its problems
3. Feasibility and effectiveness of policies suggested
Round 3: On Campus Final Round
This will be the final round. Shortlisted teams from second
round will give a presentation on campus in front of the
judges. Shortlisted teams will be allowed to expand the
number of slides but they will have to stick to given timelimit.
