It is ideal for supplying power for con:nuous run loads, which can be powered from 12 volt or 24 V rechargeable ba3eries, such as remote monitoring, ligh:ng and security cameras. The BOC Hymera is fuelled with readily available industrial hydrogen, delivered via standard steel cylinders, and also in BOC’s new GENIE™ lightweight user-friendly cylinder. Combined with the BOC Hymera, the H₂ GENIE™ cylinder, when filled to 300 bar, is capable of genera:ng up to 7000 Wh of electrical energy. This means that it could keep a high specifica:on security camera (25W to 50W) powered for between one and two weeks or a 5W alarm system powered for more than a month. The H₂ GENIE™ has a mass of just over 20kg but carries the same energy as more than 200kg of lead-acid ba3eries. The BOC Hymera is designed to be easy to integrate into OEM applica:ons and can work in parallel with solar powered systems, keeping the load powered during the night or in the dark winter months.
