The Rechargeable Lithium-ion Bat-tery does not need to be ully dis-charged or exhausted at be orebeing charged.

The battery may eel warm a ter ithas been charged or immediatelya ter being used. This is per ectlynormal.

Do not recharge a ully chargedbattery.

Battery Li eAt normal temperatures, the bat-tery can be used at least 300 times.I the time or which the batteryprovides power shortens markedly, this indicates that the battery hasreached the end o its e ective li eand should be replaced.

Notes on storage I a battery is stored or long periods

while charged, the per ormance o the battery can be impaired. I thebattery will not be used or sometime, run the battery out be orestoring it.

I you do not intend to use thecamera or a long period o time, remove the battery rom the cam-era.

Ni-MH batteries will sel -dischargeeven when not used, and the time

or which they can be used may beshortened as a result. Ni-MH batteries will deteriorate

    rapidly i over-discharged (e.g.by discharging the batteries in a

ashlight). Use the Discharging re-chargeable batteries unction pro-vided in the camera to dischargethe batteries.

Ni-MH batteries have a limitedservice li e. I a battery can onlybe used or a short time even a terrepeated discharge-charge cycles,it may have reached the end o itsservice li e.
