Our Aspire Programme is your opportunity to
enhance your future applications to the most
competitive universities.
The programme will broaden your horizons and your
awareness of the wider world. Through both developing your
academic potential and cultural awareness, you will shine at
those all important interviews, including Oxbridge interviews
and develop life-long skills.
This short guide provides an overview of what to expect, and
more about access to the programme.
Aspire is all about helping you realise your ambitions.
Anything is possible as a student at HNC, and our Aspire
Programme is about ensuring those with the potential to
secure places at the very best universities are supported to
do so.

If you meet the entry requirements for the programme, you will be automatically enrolled as part of the standard College application process. Once enrolled, you will receive regular updates, invitations and support!
ASPIRATIONS RAISING
The Aspire Programme is all about opening up a world of
opportunity for you, and ensuring your academic potential is
fully realised. A key part of the programme is about helping
you to realise your aspirations, and supporting you to achieve
them.
A full programme will be shared with you when you enrol and
here are some of the highlights included:
LECTURE SERIES
You will take part in regular lectures with internal and external
specialists. This intellectually rigorous series will enhance
your cultural awareness and put you in the very best position
when applying for university places. This series will not only
inspire and motivate you, but also potentially reveal new
interests and career possibilities!
SUMMER SCHOOLS
Support to secure places at leading universities, ensuring you
develop the skills and knowledge that give you a competitive
edge.
BESPOKE OXBRIDGE AND RUSSELL GROUP UNIVERSITIES
SUPPORT
Start to finish individual Oxbridge support including for
challenging and competitive courses such as Medicine and
Dentistry. You will also take part in visits to Russell Group
universities
…and a range of cultural visits and trips to expand your
horizons!
THE ASPIRE PROGRAMME? WHAT IS
Aspire is our support programme for high achieving students.
If you are predicted to achieve an average GCSE point score of
6.7 or more, you will be offered this programme. It includes:
• University visits and tasters at leading universities such as
Durham and Leeds
• Mock interviews and Oxbridge support
• Cultural and residential trips
• An option to study a fourth Level 3 option in the first year,
including a BTEC Level 3 qualification or an Extended Project
Qualification (EPQ)
The programme is your perfect opportunity to broaden your
awareness of the wider world, consolidate your understanding
of topics, and ensure you shine on those all important
university applications.
To be eligible for the
programme you need a
GCSE average point score
of 6.7 or more. You will
