Decorating skills are required with a good all round knowledge of property maintenance. National Apprenticeship Week in Cumbria - Council launches search for new apprenticesNational Apprenticeship Week will see Cumbria County Council kick off a new campaign to recruit apprentices with a series of events taking place across the county.
Throughout March the county council will be recruiting to more than 70 apprenticeship opportunities across a range of service areas including engineering, fire and rescue, social care, project management and many more.
The campaign will launch across social media on Monday 5th March and focuses on the quality of training and support offered, the breadth of opportunity at the council and the difference our apprentices make to the county and its residents.
Cllr Janet Willis, Cabinet Member for Customers, Transformation and Fire and Rescue, said:
“The council is committed to apprenticeships and is making a big effort to develop our offer, over the next year we’ll be recruiting to well over 100 apprenticeship roles.
