Sobol On Monday, Texas has become the most recent state to experience a deadly shooting spree, add- ing to what is quickly becoming a summer of trag- edy. The gunman, identified as Thomas Caffall, was serving an eviction an eviction notice when he turned and opened fire at police just outside of Tex- as A&M University, killing two others and injuring four. Police shot and killed Caffall at the scene. Two others were injured and rushed to the hospital. The incident occurred on Milwaukee Avenue in the River West neighborhood when a cab driver lost control for unknown reasons, hit a light pole, and flipped over four times. Though the cab caught on fire, passers-by were able to pull the driver and passenger out of the burning vehicle.
