What is Puracast?
Puracast baths are the ultimate premium bath. Hand finished in the UK to the most exacting of standards, they are rigid, durable, strong and with a reassuring substantial weight, are perfect for all bathrooms, regardless of bath style chosen.
The versatility of the materials used, the advanced manufacturing process and the quality of our craftsmanship means that Puracast baths can be designed in beautiful sculptural shapes that suit the contemporary bathroom.
Made from a generous 5mm of acrylic, the baths are reinforced with 7 layers of hand applied fibreglass core matting and resin bonding (the same construction method used within the automotive and maritime industries). Plus the timber framed bath rims and bath bases are fully encapsulated in fibreglass matting and resin bonding providing extra rigidity, meaning the bath will not ‘flex’ when you step in.

Quality, strength and durability
Because of the rigour of the manufacturing process and the quality of the materials used, Puracast baths have superb thermal retention, so the water stays warm much longer than average acrylic bath, meaning you don’t waste water or energy. The strength and durability created by the reinforcement process means you don’t get that unnerving ’flexing’ sensation when you step in.

The Puracast bath range would not be complete without a water saving ‘eco’ option. Perfect for
anyone wanting to keep an eye on water bills or for builders and developers who need to meet new
build compliance regulations.
Choosing the right ‘eco bath’ is simple. This special range is supplied with an undrilled bath
overflow and arrives complete with a water capacity level indicator template, which allows you
choose the desired water capacity for the bath.
Simply drill a 45mm hole at the water capacity level you require* and install the waste fitting (check
out our full range of fittings within our FlovaUK and Pura Bathrooms brassware ranges). Finally
remove the low tack, easy to remove label – it will not mark or damage the bath.
*To ensure there is no damage to your bath during installation Pura Eco baths can be drilled at our factory, to your specification and at no extra cost
