A grim discovery was made Wed by a bulldozer operaterwhen a grave was uncovered at the new 100U00 juniorhigh school The site was apparently an old graveyardJohn Parker of 3436 Grandview Nighway was levelling the

Igrounds at 43U pm when the blade o his bulldozercut into a coffin The skeleton remains were taken to

Rowell and Sons Capel

John Furness former works superintentant recailedtoday that a graveyard was well est when he came herein 1888 It contained the graves of British settlers andRoyal Enineers It b am chinese cemet

and was abandoned some 20 years ago w en the chinese were5ent back to their homeland
