The FUTURE of TRUCKLOAD | 3

Getting freight to its destination may, on the surface, seem dependent only on equipment, manpower, and the use of the latest technology—but behind all of these

components lies one key factor: safety. It’s a core value instilled in employees across all aspects of a carrier which drives meaningful communication, sound preparation, and dedication to the vision and mission of an operation. Carrier executives will share the challenges of instilling a culture of safety, and the strategies for success that bring safety to the forefront of all carrier operations.

W ith economic prospects looking bright, you may be in position to acquire a competitor, in making a strategic decision to strengthen the business now and for the years ahead. But buying another company is more than just a financial

transaction. You have to consider everything from valuing the business being acquired and performing due diligence, to aligning computer systems and technical needs, and even setting a unified direction for your critical dispatching and sales staff while at the same time ensuring you can recruit the necessary driver pool, all to roll out a profitable business. Join us for a discussion of key indicators, strategy, and experiential best practices for acquiring, right sizing, and staffing a high-performing carrier.
