My future plan or the career I want to select.

Hello: this is Najeebullah Hemat son of Wali Jan, I am from Afghanistan I have completed my primary and secondary education in my own country Afghanistan, after that I selected as scholarship and introduced to India. As I liked and like the most economic subject so I referred to select economic and I completed my economic St.Xavires College Ahmedabad, and currently doing my MBA in one of the challenges college B.K.School of Business management.

As everyone has in his/his some future plan and aim so I would like to share my future plan with you.

Introduction: aim in life means to choose a profession for future life. Man is the best creation of Allah (god). He connote run his life towards the path of prosperity and happiness without having a definite aim in life.

Necessity of an aim: our life is like a journey and a journey must have a destination. An aim is life is the best guide to reach the desired destination. We can assert that just as a compass guides a sailor on the sea to make his ship reach the desired destination of his journey properly, so also an aim is life guides a man to make his life reach the desired goal of his zigzag journey of life. A man cannot try his luck on many a profession. A proverb also says,

“A rolling stone gathers on moss”

. A life without an aim is like a ship without a rudder. Again, The Allah (god) has sent man on earth with a great mission of living in deeds and not in year. This can be possible only through acting upon the following vision of life. This is whey, a definite aim in life a must to win in the battle of life and fulfil its mission.

“I slept and found that life is beauty, I woke and found that is duty”.

Different aims: different persons have different choice, tastes and temperament and as such they have different aims in life, somebody desires power, somebody hankers after wealth and races and somebody craves for high honor and high dignity in the society. Some wants to become social activist and work amount the distressed humanity and leave behind them footprints of the sands of time. Again, someone wants to be and engineer of neither a doctor nor a teacher and

so on. This choice of profession entirely depends on ones taste, aptitude and intensity of desire.

My choice: I am a student now. I have like others a definite aim in my life. It is Business. And I want to become my own boss as I do not want to work as employee under the other bosses order. As far as I know in my country there are much more businessmen but less professional and expert who really want to makes profit and serve to the country. It is a profession which is rounding in my heart form long period of time. I like to lead and ideal life of “plain living and high thinking.” To choose my profession, I have been greatly inspired and guided by the following proverb.

“If you plan for a year, sow a seed.

If you plan for a decade, plant a plant

If you plan for a century, start business.”

Reason for choice: first as we know that the world is in progress with the globalization, liberalization so I want to push my country to the globalize world as Afghanistan is rich in mining resources I want Afghanistan compete with OPEC (organization of petroleum exporting countries) and export those petroleum to the world which some countries still want to own it free

Second as I mentioned earlier I do not like to work as employee I want to be my own boss and according to me business is the only way that let u become your own boss and makes more money.

I hope to pass master courses with distinctions. Then I like to go into my profession. My goal is to dedicate myself in the national campaign of making the country building up a happier. Healthier and wealthier nation I do believe, I shall be able to reach my goal with the grace of almighty Allah (god)

How to Become Your Own Boss

If you want to start a business but don't know where to start, don't worry--you are not alone. In fact, given the new economic reality of our time, more people than ever before have found the "job" they thought was waiting for them doesn't exist. Others have come to the conclusion that they would rather create work they love, constructed to fit with their own life goals. No matter what the motivation is to be your own boss, you can start today.

Here are some Tips to Get You Started:

1. Take a Stand for Yourself. If you are dissatisfied with your current circumstances, admit that no one can fix them except for you. It doesn't do any good to blame the economy, your boss, your spouse or your family. Change can only occur when you make a conscious decision to make it happen.

2. Identify the Right Business for You.Give yourself permission to explore. Be willing to look at different facets of yourself (your personality, social styles, age) and listen to your intuition. We tend to ignore intuition even though deep down we often know the truth. Ask yourself "What gives me energy even when I'm tired?"

How do you know what business is "right" for you? There are three common approaches to entrepreneurship:

Do What You Know: Have you been laid off or want a change? Look at work you have done for others in the past and think about how you could package those skills and offer them as your own services or products.

Do What Others Do: Learn about other businesses that interest you. Once you have identified a business you like, emulate it.

Solve a Common Problem: Is there a gap in the market? Is there a service or product you would like to bring to market? (Note: This is the highest-risk of the three approaches.) If you choose to do this, make sure that you become a student and gain knowledge first before you spend any money.

3. Business Planning Improves Your Chances for Success. Most people don't plan, but it will help you get to market faster. A business plan will help you gain clarity, focus and confidence. A plan does not need to be more than one page. As you write down your goals, strategies and action steps, your business becomes real.

Ask yourself the following questions: - What am I building?- Who will I serve?- What is the promise I am making to my customers/clients and to myself?- What are my objectives, strategies and action plans (steps) to achieve my goals?

4. Know you’re Target Audience Before You Spend a Penny. Before you spend money, find out if people will actually buy your products or services. This may be the most important thing you do. You can do this by validating your market. In other words, who, exactly, will buy your products or services other than your family or friends? (And don't say. "Everyone in America will want my product." Trust me--they won't.) What is the size of your target market? Who are your customers? Is your product or service relevant to their everyday life? Why do they need it?

There is industry research available that you can uncover for free. Read industry articles with data (Google the relevant industry associations) and read cense data to learn more. However, the most important way to get this information is to ask your target market/customers directly and then listen.

5. Understand Your Personal Finances and Choose the Right Kind of Money You Need for Your Business. As an entrepreneur, your personal life and business life are interconnected. You are likely to be your first--and possibly only--investor. Therefore, having a detailed understanding of your personal finances, and the ability to track them, is an essential first step before seeking outside funding for your business. This is why I recommend setting up your personal accounts in a money management system such as Mint.com to simplify this process.

As you are creating your business plan, you will need to consider what type of business you are building--a lifestyle business (smaller amount

of startup funds), a franchise (moderate investment depending on the franchise), or a high-tech business (will require significant capital investment). Depending on where you fall on the continuum, you will need a different amount of money to launch and grow your business, and it does matter what kind of money you accept.

6. Build a Support Network. You've made the internal commitment to your business. Now you need to cultivate a network of supporters, advisors, partners, allies and vendors. If you believe in your business, others will, too.

Network locally, nationally & via social networks. Join networks like NAPW.com, your local chamber of commerce, or other relevant business groups. Here are some networking basics:

- When attending networking events, ask others what they do and think about how you can help them. The key is to listen more than tout yourself.- No matter what group you join, be generous, help others and make introductions without charging them.- By becoming a generous leader, you will be the first person that comes to mind when someone you've helped needs your service or hears of someone else who needs your service.

7. Sell By Creating Value.Even though we purchase products and services every day, people don't want to be "sold." Focus on serving others. The more people you serve, the more money you will make. When considering your customers or clients, ask yourself:

- What can I give them?- How can I make them successful in their own pursuits?- This approach can help lead you to new ways to hone your product or service and deliver more value, which your customers will appreciate.

Executive Summary

As I select the business to start in Afghanistan. The business which I am going to start it wills all nature recourse petroleum, mineral, and different types of stones which is really expensive now a day. My main focus will be first of those areas which are really rich in these resources and have easy transportation facilities some of places which I have already targeted are Badkhshan province, Bamiyan, logar and some other north provinces. The transportation will be road type truck laree etc.

Despite a lengthy history of small-scale mining of gems, gold, copper, and coal, systematic exploration of Afghanistan's mineral resources did not begin until the 1960s. In the 1970s Afghanistan was discovered to have a wide variety of mineral resources, but only coal, iron ore, copper ore, and gemstones were targeted for development. Natural gas fields are scattered throughout much of Afghanistan. Recent analysis by the United States Geological Survey has indicated significant unexploited oil reserves in the north as well. After their invasion of Afghanistan in 1979, the Soviets endeavoured to export some of the country's resources to the USSR. Natural gas, for example, was exported by pipeline across the Amu Darya into the USSR in the 1980s. Ongoing hostilities, however, severely hampered this effort and finally cut off the natural gas export. By the mid-1990s there was little mineral or oil and gas extraction.

Business description

The UK will provide new support to help Afghanistan attract international investors to develop its estimated US$1 trillion-plus natural resources, including copper, gold, oil and gas.

Prime Minister David Cameron announced last night at The Afghanistan Mining, Oil and Gas Investor Forum, held at No. 10 Downing Street, which showcased Afghanistan’s natural resource potential to global investors.

The Prime Minister set out details of new UK support to Afghanistan’s Minister of Mines, Wahidullah Shahrani, along with over 100 representatives from the extractives, business, diplomatic and academic sectors.

Afghanistan’s mineral and hydrocarbon resources will be crucial to the development of the country’s economy, which in turn will help to create jobs, reduce aid dependence, and secure a prosperous future for the Afghan people.

The new support includes:

A new £10 million DFID programme over the next three years, to support the Ministry of Mines’ work to negotiate, let, manage and monitor contracts, appoint experts to key posts and develop the mineral and hydrocarbon sector; a UKTI dedicated expert, based in Dubai, who will play a key role in supporting investment opportunities in Afghanistan by UK listed companies or those based in or otherwise linked to the UK; and the continued support of an International Investment Adviser who is currently helping Afghanistan’s Ministry of Mines develop international business relationships and market resources. Speaking at the Forum, Prime Minister David Cameron said: “The real long-term answer for Afghanistan is prosperity and growth, jobs and investment and wealth. The scale of the opportunity in terms of the extractive industries is absolutely immense. This is an enormous opportunity which, if it can be got right, can be an extraordinary blessing and genuinely transformative.

“In Afghanistan, we are on the brink of getting this right, of having far more transparency, far more honesty in how we deal with the extractive industries. It is a theme of my G8 presidency this year to make sure that we push that agenda as far and as fast as we can.”

His Excellency Wahidullah Shahrani, Afghanistan’s Minister of Mines said:

“Afghanistan is a vast mineral rich country but one that is essentially under-explored and we are committed to developing our resources for the mutual benefit of the people of Afghanistan and quality resource companies prepared to meet the challenge. Developing Afghanistan’s considerable untapped natural resources is a task of the utmost importance. This work will continue to play a vital part in the overall recovery of our country for many years to come.

“Natural resource development is a key strand in Afghanistan’s return to prosperity. As such we are offering a unique opportunity, not only to enjoy an attractive return on investment, but also to play an important part in rebuilding our economy and rebuilding the quality of life of our people.”

What factors will affect my future plan?

Business, now-a-days is vitally affected by the economic, social, legal, technological and political factors. These factors collectively form business environment. Business environment, as such, is the total of all external forces, which affect the organisation and operations of business. The environment of an organisation has got internal, operational and general lives managers must be aware of these three environmental levels and their relationship and importance.

The term 'business environment implies those external forces, factors and institutions that are beyond the control of individual business organisations and their management and affect the business enterprise. It implies all external forces within which a business enterprise operates. Business environment influence the functioning of the business system. Thus, business environment may be defined as all those conditions and forces which are external to the business and are beyond the individual business unit, but it operates within it. These forces are customer, creditors, competitors, government, socio-cultural organisations, political parties national and international organisations etc. some

Page 11: FUTURE PLAN Entreprnure

of those forces affect the business directly which some others have indirect effect on the business.

Business environment as such are classified into the following three major categories, they are:

Internal environment Operational environment General/external environment

Both internal and operational environment are the creation of the enterprise itself. The factors of external or general environment are broad in scope and least controlled and influenced by the management of the enterprises.

Now we discuss those factors in details as below:

Economic dimensions of environmentEconomic environment refers to the aggregate of the nature of economic system of the country, the structural anatomy of the economy to economic policies of the government the organisation of the capital market, the nature of factor endowment, business cycles, the socio-economic infrastructure etc. The successful businessman visualizes the external factors affecting the business, anticipating the prospective market situations and makes suitable to get the maximum with minimize cost.

Social dimensions or environmentthe social dimension or environment of a nation determines the value system of the society which, in turn affects the functioning of the business. Sociological factors such as costs structure, customs and conventions, cultural heritage, view toward wealth and income and scientific methods, respect for seniority, mobility of labour etc. have far-reaching impact on the business. These factors determine the work culture and mobility of labour, work groups etc. For instance, the nature of goods and services to be produced depends upon the demand of the people which in turn is affected by their attitudes, customs, so as cultural values fashion etc. Socio-cultural environment determines the code of conduct the business should follow. The social groups such as trade unions or consumer forum will intervene if the business follows the unethical practices. For instance, if the firm is not paying fair wages to its business in indulging in black marketing or adulteration, consumers forums and various government agencies will take action against the business.

Page 12: FUTURE PLAN Entreprnure

B.K.School of Business Management

Political environmentThe political environment of a country is influenced by the political organisations such as philosophy of political parties, ideology of government or party in power, nature and extent of bureaucracy influence of primary groups etc. political stability in the country, foreign policy, Defence and military policy, image of the country and its leaders in and outside the country. The political environment of the country influences the business to a great extent. For instance, the Government of Afghanistan does not let to start any types of export import without licensing and also we can point out that there might be some political risk because of different parties.

Technical environmentthe business in a country is greatly influenced by the technological development. The technology adopted by the industries determines the type and quality of goods and services to be produced and the type and quality of plant and equipment to be used. Technological environment influences the business in terms of investment in technology, consistent application of technology and the effects of technology on markets. In Afghanistan, advancements in automation and information technology have posed the challenging situation for the organisation in future.

As we know that there are four types of transportations.

Road way

Sea way

Air way

Pipeline

In road way or land way we can transport through different types of trucks cars and train we can say that in land way one more type which is known as rail way. Unfortunately in Afghanistan rail way did not develop because of the availability of much more mountains’ I can say that transportation is also the factors which is going to affect my business in Afghanistan
